Busymate Helper is an on-device HTTP/HTTPS debugger for iPhone and iPad. If something isn't working or you have a question, the fastest route is email — details below.
Getting help
Email us at support@busymate.net. We typically reply within 1–2 business days. Including your iOS version, app version, and a short description of what you were doing helps us resolve things faster.
Common topics
- Installing & trusting the CA certificate. To decrypt HTTPS, the app needs a local certificate authority installed on the device. After installing the profile, enable full trust under Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings. Without this step, HTTPS bodies stay encrypted.
- Pairing a device / signing in. Sign in to your Busymate account in the app to pair the device with your private dashboard. Pairing claims a long-lived device token so captures sync to your workspace.
- Choosing which domains get decrypted (SSL proxying). Add only the domains you want to inspect to the SSL-proxy list. Traffic to any other domain is observed only at the connection level and is never decrypted.
- Enabling capture via PAC or VPN. The app can capture either through a local VPN tunnel (system-wide) or via a PAC proxy configuration. Choose whichever fits your setup; both feed the same real-time request/response view.
- Deleting your account & data. Use the dashboard's Clear feed control to wipe captured entries, or Unpair a device to revoke its token. To delete your account entirely, email support@busymate.netand we'll purge all data within 30 days.
